In the ELA rubric I graded myself and after looking in which one I deserved I got an “Proficient/collage Ready” which said that I analyze and evaluate the ideas and arguments in my position paper. I establish and maintain a clear controlling idea. I didn’t have any grammar errors. This project was just like Model UN but, just a little different because in this simulation we were discussing about Greek gods and how they should be punish.
This was not as easy as it seems because, you had to stick to your god’s personality so you had to be careful what you said. Thanks to the internet and all does web pages that give you information help me find great information about my god which was Hestia this character was challenging because, she believes in forgiveness and we had to find some way to punish him in a nice way where she didn’t have to use any kind of violence or anything like that. Google, yahoo, gmail etc. help me find the resources I was looking for to be almost the perfect personality of Hestia in my position paper and in the stimulation.
I establish a clear controlling idea about my punishment because; everyone was impressing of how my god really didn’t want any punishment since that doesn’t go with her personality. There were a few questions about why I didn’t want any punishment if he did something bad but there’s only one answer to all the questions they ask and that is that my god id is forgiven and doesn’t like punishing anyone.
Grammar errors where really important on how I graded myself too because that shows if I am “Emerging”, “developing”, “proficient/collage Ready”, “advance”. Since I use the computer is easy to see where you commit an error and it gives you several options to see what word you trying to use that is why I didn’t have any grammar errors.
My score “Proficient/Collage Ready” shows that I’m ready for collage because I try to be the best to be at “Proficient/Collage Ready” and this only shows that I can be collage ready if I try my hardest when doing my work everyday. I might not have got in “Advance” but if I continue that way I might get there one of these days I just need to keep trying my best.
